Honda scoops 2 Autotrader awards

Honda have recently received two honours in the Autotrader Bike Awards:

Best A2 Bike – CBR500R

Biketrader described the CBR500R as “one of a triumvirate of impressive new Hondas that are appealing to novice riders. It delivers, both in the flexibility and economy of the 47bhp parallel twin engine, and in the excellent build quality. The success of the CBR500R, specifically, is thanks to its sports bike looks, that full fairing helping improve rider comfort.” David Burton said its “A hugely capable starter bike with the backing of Honda’s excellent dealer network.”

Best Commuter Bike – NC750X

Biketrader commented that “The 2014 revisions to the Honda NC750X have made it the unequivocal benchmark for commuter bikes. The under-tank storage and scooter-like fuel economy always made it a practical and economic commuter, but the updated parallel twin engine and revised dual-clutch transmission mean the bike now even easier and more enjoyable to live with. For sensibly priced, sheer practicality, the NC750X is difficult to touch.”
